Mountlake Terrace High School’s Nalin Sood will coach the state’s top graduating boys from this winter’s basketball season in the Northwest Shootout against Oregon’s top boys on April 2 in Portland, Oregon.

Nalin has been the MTHS varsity boys’ head coach since 2001, but he was previously an assistant coach as well as a former player for the Hawks. This year’s Northwest Shootout will raise funds to benefit the Multnomah Athletic Foundation’s grants and scholarships to support athletes and youth athletics throughout the Portland area, so in addition to it being a showcase of talent, it is also for a good cause.
