Break out the bats, balls and gloves — MTYAA baseball is about ready to take the field for 2014.
Mountlake Terrace Youth Athletic Association (MTYAA) offers seven divisions of Pony Baseball for ages 4-19. The organization will conduct some field clean-up efforts this weekend, then begin practices for some of the divisions on Monday, March 3. Games are scheduled to begin in April.
While teams and fields are coming together for the upcoming season, not all the sponsorship opportunities are filled yet. “We are a nonprofit organization and we still have teams that do not have sponsors,” noted MTYAA Director of Public Relations Arjay Tacazon.
