Anyone in Mountlake Terrace who has children that play sports are probably familiar with the MTYAA. MTYAA Baseball has an auction coming up to raise funds that help support players who may have difficulty paying registration fees. MTYAA Baseball will never refuse registration due to a lack of funds and this auction helps to keep things that way.
Here’s more form the organizer:
This auction is a very important event for our non-profit organization. The money we raise helps offset the costs of operating the baseball league, keep the cost of player registration down, and most important, provide scholarships to players in need. We know times continue to be tough for many of our families. This year, we are proud to say that we provided over 25 scholarships to players throughout the league, from Shetland division through Colt. No player will be refused registration because of lack of funds. Tickets cost $45 and include dinner, silent and live auctions, raffle games, dessert auction, and dancing to end the night! For tickets please contact any of our Auction co-chairs Cathy Fiorillo (firstname.lastname@example.org), Michele Lampers (email@example.com), and Kim Maxfield (firstname.lastname@example.org) or visit our website for additional information (www.mtyaabaseball.org). Thank you and Play Ball!
