Mountlake Terrace High School fall teams enjoyed tremendous success this season, so it’s understandable that Wesco League recognition has now come for a number of Hawk athletes.
Both the Terrace boys and girls cross country teams excelled at the WIAA state meet earlier this month, with the boys team finishing tenth in the state competition while the girls team claimed fifth. Individual Hawk runners receiving All-Wesco League first team honors this week were Jack Pearce, Peter Kidane, Katherine Gustafson and Sophia Nelson.
The MTHS girls volleyball team captured the Wesco League 3A regular season title this year; Hawk outside hitter Madison Eich was named to the All-Wesco League first team.

The Terrace girls soccer team enjoyed their best season in years, missing out on a state tournament berth by just one win. Earning All-Wesco League first team honors were forward Lily Hart, midfielder Allison Lorraine and defender Maddy Kristjanson.
