Hundreds of high school stage performers and technicians from throughout Western Washington will assemble in Mountlake Terrace on Saturday, Jan. 16, for a day of competition that runs the gambit of acting, vocals, stage appearance and management, costume design and theater marketing.
Mountlake Terrace High School hosts the IE (Individual Event) Northwest — Acting and Technical Theatre Festival beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Performers and theater technicians will be competing on the stage of the MTHS Theater, in the school’s HUB and in classrooms throughout the school trying to earn honors and spots at the state competition in March.
The day-long competition, conducted by the Washington State Thespians, is open to the public; admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students.
Mountlake Terrace High School is located at 21801 44th Ave. W. in Mountlake Terrace.
