Future Educational Goals: To attend Edmonds Community College and complete all of the prerequisites needed to gain admission into the University of Washington’s School of Nursing. Graduate from UW Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Become a registered nurse.
Future Career Goals: Join the Peace Corps working as a registered nurse and travel to other countries providing health care to those in need.
Anything else we should know?: I love working with children and animals and plan on becoming a PAWS volunteer and animal rescue volunteer this summer. Also, I plan on volunteering with children this summer and additionally working with Habitat for Humanity.

Clubs & Activities: Peer mediation – I help mediate conflicts between students by facilitating discussions and offering strategies to resolve conflicts. I work with our security officer. I played trumpet in concert band and Jazz Ensemble II during my first three years at Terrace.
ASB: I was elected by my senior class as one of their reps and have worked on ASB-sponsored activities including homecoming, Terrace Idol and Senior Prom.
Athletics: JV Soccer freshman year
Honors: Student of the Month for May
Awards: Eagle Scout – January 2010. My Eagle Project involved building benches and picnic tables for the Brier Skate Park. I earned 30 merit badges and five Fifty Miler awards for kayaking, canoeing, cycling and hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and the Pacific Coast.
Community Service: I have been involved in many service projects with BSA Troop 60, including collecting donations for Hurricane Katrina victims, yard clean up for senior citizens and others in need, delivering holiday gifts to homeless shelters and trail clean up and maintenance in wilderness areas.
Culminating Project: I constructed a pair of snow skis I look forward to using next season. I learned about the manufacturing process and the ski industry during the course of my project.
Current Employment: I work at BSA Camp Baldwin in Oregon as an assistant on the rock climbing wall where I earned my BSA climbing instructor certification last summer.
Future Educational Goals: I plan to attend community college and transfer to a four-year college taking classes in graphic design and business.
Future Career Goals: I hope to be a part of the ski industry by creating my own company, designing and manufacturing skis and ski gear.
Anything else we should know?: I enjoy skiing, rock climbing, fishing and hiking.
