MTHS student to vie for Hogan Cup during improv competition Monday

Hogan Cup FinalsStudents from Mountlake Terrace High School have qualified for the finals of The Hogan Cup, a Puget Sound area improvisational competition taking place Monday, Nov. 25, in Seattle.

The MTHS TheatreSports Team will be on stage at The Market Theater, 1428 Post Alley at Pike Place Market, competing against improv teams from Bothell, Kamiak, Inglemoor and Holy Names high schools. The event begins at 7:30 p.m; tickets are available at the door for $12.

The MTHS TheatreSports Team is comprised of students Kyle Barton, Sage Cameron, Emily Davidson, Calvin Martin, Hailey Martin, Evan Roberts, Chris Ryder, Myles Stillwaugh, Bryan Wilson and Monika Young.

The Hogan Cup is produced by Unexpected Productions, a Seattle theatre troupe specializing in improv shows, competitions and instruction. The troupe has been teaching improv to area high school students for more than 17 years.
