The Mountlake Terrace girls tennis team fell to Glacier Peak on Thursday, 5-2. The Hawks are now 5-6 in Wesco league play, 6-8 overall. The Grizzlies improved to 7-1 in the league, 7-4 overall. The Hawks take on Shorewood on Monday, April 29, at 3:30 p.m. at Shoreview Park in Shoreline.

The Terrace girls golf team ends its season on Thursday, May 2, at Whidbey Golf and Country Club in a match against Oak Harbor and Glacier Peak, teeing off at 2 p.m.

Shorewood 4 — Mountlake Terrace 0

The Mountlake Terrace boys soccer team stayed close to the Wesco 3A South conference leaders Shorewood T-Birds throughout the first half of their April 24 matchup, but three second half goals by the T-Birds sealed the 4-0 victory for the visitors.

Shorewood’s Kabir Kahn and Dawba Dibba each had a goal and an assist in the match; Matt Owen and Taj McChesney added goals for the T-Birds (9-1-1 in Wesco play, 11-1-1 overall).

The Hawks. 1-10 in league play and 2-11-1 overall, end their season with two road matches next week, Monday, April 29, at Glacier Peak and Wednesday, May 1, versus Shorecrest at Shoreline Stadium. Both matches begin at 7:30 p.m.
