MTHS presents ‘The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940’ this Friday, Saturday

Performances of the Mountlake Terrace High School Drama Department’s production of “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940” continue on Friday and Saturday, May 31 and June 1, at the high school’s theater. Showtime is 7 p.m. each night; tickets are $5.

The John Bishop-written play is a comedic mystery that first played on and off Broadway in the mid-1980s. The story is about a creative Broadway team coping with their most recent production flop that not only had bad reviews but lost three chorus girls to murder. Their latest effort is cursed with more problems … and more murders.

The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 is the final offering of the school’s drama department of the 2012-2013 school year. Mountlake Terrace High School is located at 21801-44th Ave. W.
