
Music lovers can get an earful on Thursday when the jazz and concert bands of Mountlake Terrace High School, joined by special guest Cuong Vu, take the stage for a performance at the school’s theater.
The MTHS Jazz Emsembles 1 and 2, the Symphonic Band and the Chamber Winds are all scheduled to perform on Thursday, Feb. 27, 7 p.m. at the Mountlake Terrace High School Theater, 21801-44th Ave. W.
Jazz trumpeter Vu will contribute his artistic stylings to the concert. Vu, an associate professor and chair of Jazz Studies at the University of Washington, has played with numerous artists including Pat Methey, David Bowie and Laurie Anderson.
