With two weight class title winners and strong finishes from other grapplers, the Mountlake Terrace Hawks wrestling team placed fourth at the Bainbridge Island Invitational Saturday at Bainbridge High School.
Hawks Gene An and Chaplyn Mack earned the top spots in their weight class brackets. An won the 120-pound class with a pin of Alex More of Kingston in the championship match. Mack defeated Kevyn Ward of Sequim in the 160-pound championship match.
Other strong efforts by Terrace wrestlers included Pavel Oliferovskiy, second in the 152-pound weight class; Ilai Wilson, second in the 285-pound weight class; Moussa Traore, fourth in the 132-pound weight class; and Eric Breznen, sixth in the 195-pound weight class.

The Hawks return to Wesco League action on Friday, Jan. 15, when they travel to Shorewood High School to face the T-Birds. First match is set for 7:00 p.m.
