The Mountlake Terrace High School Drama Department presents three performances of “The Good Doctor” Thursday through Saturday, May 17-19 in the MTHS auditorium, 21801-44th Ave. W. Showtime is at 7 p.m. each night; tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.

The Neil Simon comedy is adapted from a series of short stories written by Russian Anton Chekhov in the late 1800s. MTHS students play a wide array of characters dealing with suffering, tragedy and absurdities. The play portrays the author’s assertion that if one can see the humor in a mad world, life becomes bearable.
