MTHS Booster Club, filling the gaps so student athletes can succeed

There are a lot of extra costs involved in high school athletics and most of the time the school district doesn’t have the resources to cover them all. These costs are passed on to students and when the students can’t afford them, the booster club steps in.

There are many times when a student won’t try out for a sport because they can’t afford the extra costs. The Mountlake Terrace High School Booster Club wants students and parents to know that not being able to afford the extra fees shouldn’t be holding students back from participating. Some times when a student or team is very successful, there are more fees. For example if a student qualify’s for state there are generally fees required to participate. The Booster Club can help with these fees as well.

The booster club also helps the teams purchase much needed equipment and uniforms.

The Mountlake Terrace High School Booster Club is always looking for more volunteers to help with fundraising efforts. If you are interested, email terracehawks@hotmail.com or find more contact info on their web site.
