Two cross country seniors are being profiled on the Mountlake Terrace High School Boosters’ October Athlete Highlights posters this month currently on display around Mountlake Terrace.
Allie Gill-More and Alex Williams were selected for the honor by Terrace cross country Coach Joel Pearson.
While Pearson said it was “with great pleasure” to pick Gill-More and Williams for the posters, he also singled out each with individual praise.
“(Allie’s) hard work, determination, positivity and leadership has helped create a positive student-athlete environment for our cross country family,” Pearson said. “She is always encouraging and sharing her passion for our great sport, academics and school pride. I am very honored to have Allie as a part of our family.”
“Alex is the hardest worker in the room – any room, period.” Pearson said of Williams. “He’s a great leader, inspirational, works hard in his academics, shows great school pride and best of all is an overall amazing guy.”The MTHS Boosters’ sponsors the Athlete Highlights program, providing a platform for Terrace coaches to recognize student athletes at the school.
