Community Service: I volunteer at Swedish Edmonds Hospital since the summer after my freshman year, putting in more than 300 hours now. There, I have helped out at the main floor information desk, birth center, and the ER patient access desk. I also volunteer at Hazelwood Elementary School since fall of junior year, putting in more than 100 hours now. I help fifth graders with their arithmetic and reading skills, as well as help the fifth-grade teacher. Lastly, I began volunteering for the American Red Cross this past summer, help setting up first aid stations at sporting events.
Culminating Project: For my culminating project, I decided to explore more of my heritage and learn how to make Vietnamese food.
Future Educational Goals: I plan on going onto Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and major in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology (BBMB).
Future Career Goals: After four years at Whitman College, I plan to go on to medical school where I can become a medical doctor, which will allow me to work with low-income communities in America and Doctors without Borders.
Anything else we should know?: I want to help people, and this is my ultimate goal.

Anything else we should know?: The Jazz Ensemble I is going to New York in May to compete in Essentially Ellington, a high school jazz band competition where thousands of schools from across the nation apply and 15 are accepted to compete. I went with MTHS as a freshman as well.
