The Mountlake Terrace City Council will hold a Public Hearing on to consider proposed text amendments intended to eliminate potential impediments to Town Center development objectives during its July 6 meeting.
Amendments include: a. Ordinance adopting definitions pertinent to residential units in Town Center. b. Ordinance allowing transitional uses in RS Zone on parcels abutting Town Center. c. Ordinance amending miscellaneous Town Center Development Standards to facilitate pedestrian and retail activities. d .Ordinance amending principle-use and on-site parking standards. e. Ordinance allowing closed stormwater systems under apartment and condominium buildings.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, written comments will be accepted until July 6 at 4 p.m., to the attention of the City Clerk (6100 219th Street SW, Suite 200, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043 or via email: cityhall@ci.mlt.wa.us), and will become part of the permanent record.
