Cinebarre was named a winner in the ParentMap 2015 Golden Teddy awards.
The Mountlake Terrace movie theater, which offers ages 21-plus dinner and drinks, was the winner in the Date-Night category.
The Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion was a finalist in the best Water Playparks and Pools and Swimming Camps and Classes categories.
The Lynnwood Recreation Center was named best Water Playparks and Pools. Pump It Up, with locations in Lynnwood, Kirkland and Bothell, won best Birthday Venue. Lynnwood’s PlayHappy Cafe was a finalist in Birthday Venue and the Rainy Day Refuge categories. PlayHappy Café won best Coffee Shop and was a finalist in Kid-Friendly restaurant in the North Sound Dining and Food awards.
Lynnwood Kids Dentist was named best Pediatric Dentist.
Pagliacci Pizza, with locations in Edmonds and Shoreline, was named best Pizza. Mod Pizza with two locations in Lynnwood, Spartas in Lynnwood and Evviva Wood Fired Pizza in Edmonds were finalists. Red Robin, with multiple locations including Lynnwood, was named best Kid-Friendly Restaurant.
Menchies in Lynnwood and Bothell won best Ice Cream. Revealations Yogurt and Dessert Bar was a finalist. Goodwill, with multiple locations including Lynnwood and Edmonds, was a finalist in Kids’ Clothing and Consignment Shops.
The Rusty Pelican Cafe, with locations in Edmonds and Mill Creek, was named a finalist in the Best Family Breakfast category. Kafé Neo on Highway 99 in Edmonds was named the winner in the North Sound Cross-Cultural Eats category, for its authentic Greek food, and Thai Cottage in downtown Edmonds was picked as a finalist in that category.
The big orange Edmonds-based food truck Here and There Grill was a finalist in the food truck category.
Both the Edmonds Summer Market and PCC Markets were named as finalists in the fresh food category. The Edmonds Sunner Market “boasts not only a wonderful produce section, but also crafts, art and live music that kids love,” the magazine said.
