The following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.
Oct. 16
21800 block of 44th Ave. W. Malicious mischief. A window in the back of Mountlake Terrace High School was broken.
Oct. 17
22300 block of 70th Ave. W. Theft from vehicle. A woman told police she saw a man steal a computer out of her car. The victim said the suspect walked to a nearby wooded area. Police located the suspect in the wooded area and he was positively identified by the victim. The suspect was arrested.
7200 block of 220th St. SW. DUI. Police arrested a suspected drunk driver. Tests at the Lynnwood Jail indicated the suspect was legally drunk.
Oct. 19
24100 block of 56th Ave. W. Theft-vehicle. A 2002 Ford truck was stolen from a business.
22300 block of 58th Ave. W. Theft from building. A man left an iPad in church and when he went back for it, the iPad was missing.
Oct. 21
22500 block of 72nd St. SW. Warrant service/Assist other agency. Police responded to a report of a cry for help in a wooded area. When officers arrived, they encountered a woman, who later admitted she was withdrawing from heroin use. She declined to be treated by an aid car. It was determined that a man with her had a felony warrant and he was arrested.
22100 block of 67th Pl. W. Theft. A 2005 Dodge Dakota was stolen. A wallet with credit cards was left in the truck.
23400 block of 58th Ave. W. Warrant service/Assist other agency. Police responded to a report of a disturbance. Police contacted a group of men, who said most of the yelling came from another group of people who left the area. One of the remaining men had an outstanding warrant and was placed under arrest.
Oct. 22
6000 block of 244th St. SW. Malicious mischief. A rock was thrown through the window of a motel. The rock was about five inches in diameter and caused damage estimated to be $800.
