MLT police shieldThe following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.

Sept. 10

6800 block of 226th Pl. SW. Burglary. Someone attempted to steal a custom titanium frame bike. The owner saw a man enter the garage and take the bike. The victim ran outside and yelled at the suspect, who dropped the bike and ran.

Sept. 11

23300 block of 50th Ave. W. Vehicle impound. A Volvo with California plates was impounded.

Sept. 13

6100 block of St. Albion Way. Vehicle prowl. A backpack containing a computer and various identification cards was stolen out of a vehicle in an apartment parking lot.

Sept. 14

4900 block of 216th Pl. SW. Malicious mischief. The driver’s side window of a truck was damaged by a pellet or bullet.

6300 block of 222nd St. SW. Malicious mischief. Someone shot a hole in a resident’s living room window with what appeared to be a bb.

Sept. 15

21900 block of 48th Ave. W. Burglary. A man reported the theft of video game consoles, jacket, passports, underwear, sweats, jewelry and a computer table. The backdoor to the residence was found open by the victim.

Sept. 16

22400 block of 64th Ave. W. Theft. A yard waste container was stolen. It was set out for service in the morning but was missing when the resident returned home.

Sept. 17

22300 block of 48th Ave. W. Vehicle recovery. Police contacted the owner of a Chevrolet Astro van from Edmonds and he took custody of the vehicle.
