MLT police shieldThe following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.

Aug. 18

21800 block of 55th Ave. W. Vehicle prowl. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

Aug. 21

5800 block of 222nd Pl. SW. Vehicle prowl. Vehicle registration was stolen from a vehicle.

21300 block of 60th Ave. W. Vehicle prowl. A man reported that his locked vehicle had been ransacked overnight but nothing was missing.

Aug. 22

4100 block of 236th St. SW. Assist Other Agency. Police located a woman, who the state patrol were trying to find regarding a vehicle collision. The woman, who was determined to be drunk, was arrested by the state patrol.

22600 block of 56th Ave. W. DUI. A vehicle struck a parked car. The driver, who said he was not injured. He was found to be legally drunk and was arrested.

Aug. 25

22800 block of Lakeview Dr. Malicious mischief. The top of a roof of a Ford Taurus was caved in from an apparent force from the top. There were shoeprints on top of the roof consistent with someone walking or jumping on the roof of the car.

Aug. 26

7100 block of 220th St. SW. DUI. A man was arrested for DUI.

21300 block of 48th Ave. W. Collision. A pedestrian was walking on the side of the street and jumped from the sidewalk to the roadway when a water sprinkler system was activated. A vehicle then ran over the pedestrian’s foot.

Aug. 27

4700 block of 212th St. SW. Trespassing. Two transients were alleged to be disturbing the peace at an apartment complex. An employee reported that a man and woman had been sleeping on the playground. Neither of them lived at the location and the man admitted to taking a nap on the playground.
