The following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.
July 31
22800 block of 56th Ave. W. Malicious mischief. A window at a business was damaged.
Aug. 2
24200 block of 54th Ave. W. Trespassing. A tenant, who had been evicted, returned to a residence at a mobile home park where he was not allowed.
Aug. 3
7100 block of 230th St. SW. Theft-bicycle. A bicycle was stolen from the front of a house.
22800 block of 44th Ave. W. DUI. Police responded to a two-car collision and arrested a man for DUI.
22800 block of 41st Pl. W. Theft. After a man hired three individuals to move items from a residence, the man realized that a bottle of his prescription medicine was missing.
24300 block of 56th Ave. W. Found property. A lost passport was turned into the police, who returned it to its owner.
Aug. 4
21300 block of 60th Ave. W. Theft from auto. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Aug. 5
22000 56th Ave. W. Found property. Two boys turned in a set of keys they found on the soccer fields at the Evergreen Playfield.
6000 block of 244th St. SW. Violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act. A man was arrested for possession of cocaine.
Aug. 6
6600 block of 220th St. SW. Burglary – commercial. A business owner reported the theft of an iPad and desktop computer.
4700 block of 224th Pl. SW. Assist Other Agency. A man who escaped from Western State Hospital was taken into custody and transported to Swedish Edmonds Hospital.
5700 block of 236th St. SW. Traffic. A car hit a man, who was crossing a road without using a crosswalk. One vehicle was able to stop and avoid hitting the pedestrian but the second car couldn’t see the pedestrian, attempted to brake but ended up hitting the man.
