MLT police shieldThe following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.

June 19

21400 block of 48th Ave. W. Theft from auto. Sunglasses, cash, a GPS and a watch were stolen from a truck, which also suffered damage to the key lock and door/frame.

June 20

21600 block of 60th Ave. W. Theft from auto. An automobile battery was stolen after the hood was left open.

June 21

4200 block of 236th St. SW.  Stolen vehicle recovery. A stolen vehicle was recovered in an apartment parking lot. The owner was contacted and took possession of the vehicle.

June 23

6000 block of 220th St. SW. Found property. A license plate belonging to a man in Snohomish was found.

24200 block of 58th Pl. W. Theft. A man said he was walking his dog when he saw another man walking the other direction with a weed eater that looked similar to his. When the man returned home he discovered his weed eater missing. Also stolen were a lawnmower, new generator and leaf blower.

22500 block of 48th Ave. W. Theft. A girls bicycle was stolen. While looking for the stolen bicycle, a man found a different bicycle left near the sidewalk.

June 25

21200 block of 44th Ave. W. Weapons violations. During a supsicous circumstances call involving a handgun, police confiscated a pistol. An individual, who allegedly pretended to shoot the gun while in the vehicle, was arrested.

22500 block of 52nd Ave. W. Burglary. The owner of a house reported drywall damage in the living room and kitchen.

June 26

22600 block of 60th Ave. W. Trespassing. A woman told police that when she was watching television an unknown man entered her residence and talked to her briefly before leaving. Police located the suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated. The victim declined to press charges and the man was transported to his residence.
