MLT police shieldThe following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.

May 24

5300 block of 244th St. SW. Found property. A woman found a three-ring binder.

23400 block of 56th Ave. W. Assault. Two men were reportedly fighting at a church. Both of the suspects were taken into custody on warrants unrelated to the alleged altercation.

May 27

5800 block of 224th St. SW. Theft. A couple of packages were stolen from the front of a residence. A video showed a man jumping out of a van and stealing the packages.

May 28

23500 block of Cedar Way. Stolen vehicle recovery. A vehicle stolen out of Seattle was recovered.

5000 block of 212th St. SW. Theft from auto. A man reported he saw an unknown man rummaging through his car. The suspect stole $2 in change and a bottle of medication.

May 29

4600 block of 242nd St. SW.  Reckless burning. A small brush fire was extinguished.

21900 block of 64th Ave. W. Theft from auto. The face plate to a car stereo was stolen. The victim said that he believes he did not lock the vehicle.

22800 block of 44th Ave. W. Theft from auto. A window in a car was broken and a backpack containing a hair dryer and clothes was stolen.

22000 block of 66th Ave. W. Theft. An employee of a casino reported that two men climbed over the bar and took three bottles of alcohol.

May 30

4000 block of 236th St. SW. Vehicle recovery. A white scooter reported as stolen from Seattle was recovered.

4400 block of 212th St. SW. A 1993 Honda Civic was stolen from an apartment parking lot.

4000 block of 204th St. SW. DUI.  Police arrested a man for driving under the influence.

May 31

5900 block of 227th St. SW. Violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act. A man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
