MLT police shieldThe following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.

March 27

6200 block of 224th St. SW. Theft from auto. A woman reported that $50, a cell phone charger and some clothes were stolen from her car.

6300 block of St. Albion Way. Assist other agency. Police arrested a man, who has been wanted for rape of a child by the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.

3600 block of 220th St. SW. Disturbance. A man was pushed into a large glass window, resulting in a broken window but no injuries to the man.

March 30

22800 block of 66th Ave. W. Accident. A vehicle was traveling south on Lakeview Drive, left the roadway and struck a light pole.

March 31

6000 block of 244th St. SW. Malicious mischief. Five vehicles were discovered to have linear holes in the windshields. It appears that the damage may have been created from an axe or similiar type instrument striking the windshield.

April 1

21800 block of 44th Ave. W. Malicious mischief. A large number of trees in the Mountlake Terrace High School parking lot were covered with toliet paper. The court yard also was covered in toliet paper. There appeared to be no damage to any of the trees.

April 2

6300 block of St. Albion Way. Assault. A man was playing soccer with friends when the suspect showed up and subsequently punched him in the nose following a verbal argument. The victim and suspect had been having disagrements via social media.

April 3

6000 block of 244th St. SW. Theft from auto. A woman parked her car in a hotel parking lot and came out to find that her front passenger’s window was broken. A purse containing her driver’s license and $200 was taken.
