MLT police shieldThe following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.

March 20

6700 block of 234th Pl. SW. Humane. A person complained about a barking dog.

March 22

21400 block of 48th Ave. W. Malicious mischief. A vehicle’s windshield was shattered.

March 23

6300 block of St. Albion Way. Malicious mischief. A windshield of a car was broken.

March 25

22000 block of 52nd Ave. W. Malicious mischief. A door to a greenhouse at Mountlake Terrace Elementary School was bent on the top and bottom,

March 26

5600 block of 239th Pl. SW. Stolen vehicle recovery. A stolen Nissan Altima was recovered.

4400 block of 224th Pl. SW. Burglary. A resident reported that someone attempted to force entry into his residence. The victim reported that a screen has been removed from a lower level window of the house. There also were some pry marks on the rear of the house. No items were missing from the residence.

4800 block of 212th St. SW. Fraud. A business owner told police a phone caller contacted him and said that he worked for a collection agency and owed the PUD money. The caller instructed the victim to go to a local business and put $450 on a “Reloadit” pack and give him the pack number. The man complied but later because suspicious. Police advised the owner that the PUD would not have him pay his bill in this manner.

23100 block of 58th Ave. W. Theft from auto. A resident reported two of his vehicles were entered over the last two nights. His tool belt and other tools were missing from one of the vehicles.
