The following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.
Feb. 6
21800 block of 44th Ave. W. Warrant service. A burglary in progess was reported at Mountlake Terrace High School. The suspect was chased by a staff member and eventually was located by an Edmonds Police Officer. The suspect allegedly stole some food though he claimed he was given the food. School staff requested that the suspect, a former student, be criminally trespassed from the school. A check revealed that the suspect had two warrants from Kirkland Police. He was transferred to Kirkland Police.
4200 block of 214th St. SW. Theft from auto. A woman reported a shaving kit was stolen from her car.
Feb. 8
23000 block of 42nd Pl. W. Theft mail. A resident reported the possible theft of mail from a central location in the middle of the block. The resident found a piece of mail that belonged to another resident in a different part of the city.
Feb. 9
5300 block of 241st Pl. SW. Theft from auto. A charging cord and set of work keys were stolen from a vehicle.
Interurban Trail. Malicious mischief. Graffiti was found on the eastisde of the tunnel.
Feb. 10
5600 block of 237th St. SW. Theft. A man reported the theft of camera items, a Kindle and a coat from his car.
22700 block of Lakeview Dr. Vehicle theft. A 1991 Honda Accord was stolen from a parking lot.
Feb. 12
22600 block of 48th Ave. W. Lost property. A man contacted police to report that a rifle and scope were missing from his house. The man reported last seeing the rifle sometime in 2008 in a closet. He was unable to provide a serial number for the rifle.
23100 block of 56th Ave. W. Theft. A woman was cited for shoplifting a tube of denture cream.
21900 block of 58th Ave. W. Vehicle theft. A 1998 Honda Civic was stolen from an apartment complex parking lot.
