MLT police shieldThe following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.

Jan. 2

24000 block of 56th Ave. W. Disorderly conduct. A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he became upset and punched a window in the front of a bar after the staff refused to serve him anymore alcohol.

Jan. 4

4200 block of 236th St. SW. Vehicle theft. A 1991 Toyota SUV was stolen.

Jan. 5

6300 226th St. SW. Humane. A resident complained about barking dogs.

Jan. 6

6600 220th St. SW. Suspicious circumstances. A store employee suspected that a can of motor oil and injector cleaner were stolen.

21800 block of 44th Ave. W. Malicious mischief. Eight windows were broken at Mountlake Terrace High School. Two rocks were located in the school and other rocks were on the ground under the windows outside.

Jan. 7

24200 block of 44th Ave. W. Vehicle theft. A Chevy truck was stolen.

6600 block of 220th St. SW. Counterfeiting. A customer attempted to pay with a fake $10 bill. The customer was contacted by police and said he was not aware the bill was fake.

22100 block of 66th Ave. W. A woman reported that her rear passenger window was broken and a laptop computer, handbag, lunch box and hard drive were stolen from her vehicle

21600 block of 60th Ave. W. Found property. A bicycle was turned into the police.

22200 block of 62nd Ave. W. Vehicle recovery. A 1998 Toyota car was abandoned. The ignition was punched. The car belongs to a Kirkland resident.
