The following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.

Dec. 5

22800 block of 44th Ave. W. Theft. A man reported the theft of laptop computer from his car.

23300 block of Lakeview Dr. A woman reported the theft of jewelry and cash from her home.

Dec. 7

22800 block of 44th Ave. W. Information. A man was found sitting on the floor in the beer aisle of a grocery store and was refusing to leave. When police assisted the man from the store, he made comments about wanting to hurt himself. He was then taken to the hospital

Dec. 8

24400 block of 60th Ave. W. Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. A 20-year-old man was pulled over by police for a non-working left turn signal. During the incident, marijuana was seen in plain sight and confiscated by police since the suspect was under the legal age to possess marijuana.

23600 block of 56th Ave. W. Traffic accident. A woman was hit by a car. Police were unable to determine which party was at fault. The woman was transported to the hospital with apparently no major injuries.

Dec. 9

5600 block of 232nd St. SW. DUI. A man was arrested for DUI.

Dec. 10

6300 block of St. Albion Way. Burglary. A woman reported that her apartment was ransacked and a small safe was missing from her kitchen table.

Dec. 11

6000 block of 244th St. SW. Lost property. A man lost his wallet at a movie theater.

21300 block of 52nd Ave. W. Vehicle theft. A woman reported the theft of her 1999 car from a parking lot.

21200 block of 40th Ave. W. DUI. A man was arrested for driving under the influence.
