The following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.
Dec. 1
21300 block of 46th Ave. W. Theft. A 2001 BMW was reported stolen.
Dec. 2
22800 block of Lakeview Dr. Assist other agency. A fire in the community hot tub area of an apartment complex was reported. Two individuals set their clothes on the top of a wall heater prior to using the hot tub. The clothes caught fire and one of the individuals ran and called 911.
Dec. 4
6300 block of 220th St. SW. DUI. A man was pulled over in his car after an officier noted the center brake light was not working. The man’s driver’s license was suspended and the officer noticed the odor of intoxicants on his breath. The suspect had trouble in completing field sobriety tests and subsequently, he was arrested for DUI.
22200 block of 52nd Ave. W. Theft. A man took his truck to get an oil change and workers told him that his front license plate did not match his rear plate. A check indicated that the front license plate belonged to a vehicle belonging to a Kirkland man.
21900 block of 56th Ave. W. Theft. Groceries from Amazon Fresh were delivered to a resident at about 3 a.m. and at 4:45 a.m. the groceries were missing. The value was estimated at $59.
