MLT police shieldThe following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.

Nov. 14

4600 block of 216th Pl. SW. Vehicle impound. A Chevy van was impounded

Nov. 15

22100 block of 39th Ave. W. Theft. A man reported the theft of a barbeque off his back deck, which is fully fenced in.

Nov. 16

4300 block of 212th St. SW.  Malicious mischief. A woman reported that her vehicle has been vandalized while in a grocery store parking lot.

4700 block of 228th St. SW. Found property. A backpack was found.

23300 block of 56th Ave. W. Theft. A man reported that his vehicle had been broken into while in a parking lot. Entry was made by smashing out the side window.

Nov. 19

23500 block of 52nd Ave. W. Impound vehicle. A Ford Escort was impounded.

4500 block of 236th St. SW. Found property. A bicycle was found.

Nov. 20

23100 56th Ave. W. Theft. A man shoplifted a bottle of beer.

21800 44th Ave. W. Theft A student removed a yellow parking boot from another student’s vehicle at Mountlake Terrace. The student contacted a friend, who brought the boot back to the school.

6600 220t St. SW. Counterfeiting. An employee at a gas station reported that a man was attempting to purchase items with a counterfeit $10 bill. The suspect claimed he found the bill on the street and did not know it was counterfeit. Police confiscated the fake money.
