The following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.
Sept. 20
21200 block of 50th Ave. W. Theft. A boat motor was reported stolen.
Sept. 21
6600 block of 222nd St. SW. Theft. A Honda Accord was stolen.
21800 block of 66th Ave. W. Theft. A man reported a backpack, a rifle and BB pistol, two tents, chairs and a sleeping bag were stolen from a locked storage unit.
23200 48th Ave. W. Humane. One dog attacked another dog. The dog who was injured was bitten on the chest and taken to a veterinary hospital.
Sept. 22
22000 block of 52nd Ave. W. Found property. A security guard of an elementary school turned in a bag of marijuana to police.
23300 block of 56th Ave. W. Burglary. A man reported the theft of silver coins and a tape recorder. The victim suspects his sister, whom he has a strained relationship with, stole the items.
24200 block of 52nd Ave. W. Malicious mischief. Someone stole wire and caused damage to other wire inside three housing units under construction.
Sept. 23
4800 block of 226th St. SW. Theft. A truck was reported stolen sometime during the night.
6600 block of 227th St. SW. Vehicle prowl. A man reported that he saw a suspect standing near the rear passenger door of his truck. The suspect ran off after the man yelled at him. A second man also ran away from the front area of the truck.
Sept. 24
21500 block of 48th Ave. W. Harassment. A woman told police that her former husband posted several nude photos of her on the Internet two years ago. She said that she received a suspicious call from a man, who told her he saw the pictures. He called several more times. The woman asked the man to stop calling her and said she would call police if he persisted, which he did.
23100 block of 67th Pl. W. Theft. A man reported that his vehicle registration was stolen from a car visor.
5700 block of 234th St. SW. Suspicious circumstances. A man reported that over the last few nights suspects have left smudge marks on the window and sides of two of his vehicles parked in his front driveway. He requested extra patrols.
23600 block of 56th Ave. W. Theft A man told police that his wallet was stolen, while he was in a store. Through a store videotape, it was determined that the man’s wallet fell out of his car when he exited it and the suspect stepped out of his vehicle picked up the wallet and left in the vehicle. The quality of the video, however, was so poor that no identification of the vehicle, other than it was a dark colored SUV, was possible
22800 block of 48th Ave. W. Humane. Two loose dogs were reported on the run.
23400 block of 53rd Ave. W. Humane. A small dog was barking.
Sept. 25
23300 block of 66th Ave. W. Found property. A bicycle was found and turned into the police, who transported it back to the station.
