MLT police shieldThe following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace police blotter.

July 26

22000 block of 54th Ave. SW. DUI. A man with a Maryland drivers license was pulled over after driving erratically. The man refused to do voluntary standard field sobriety tests and preliminary breath tests. He was subsequently arrested after the smell of intoxicants was detected by two officers. The suspect later agreed to a breath test and blew a .121 and .122.

July 27

23100 block of 59th Ave. W. Reckless endangerment. A man was arrested after two reports of shots fired were called into police.

July 29

4100 block of 236th St. SW. Theft auto. A man reported that computer was stolen from his van.

4100 block of 236th St. SW. Theft auto. The front passenger window and the driver widow of two cars were smashed. Both cars were ransacked. A hammer, lug wrench and cell phone were found on the ground between the two vehicles. One of the owners said that $950 was stolen from his car. The cash was in the passenger door pocket.

July 30

4100 block of 236th St. SW. Motor vehicle prowl. A woman reported that her car had been ransacked but nothing was damaged or broken. Nothing was missing from the vehicle.

7100 block of 224th St. SW. Stolen vehicle recovery.  A stolen vehicle from Seattle was recovered.
