
Students from Mountlake Terrace High School and Brier Terrace Middle School joined more than 600 others from 50 schools at the 31st annual Washington Technology Student Association (WTSA) State Conference on March 27-29 in Bellevue. The event included numerous competitions in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, from which many MTHS and BTMS brought home awards.
The MTHS students were led at the conference by staff advisor Mark Burbank; the BTMS students were advised by Margaret Daniels, Todd Johnston and James Sullivan with assistance from teachers Ryan Treadway and Kim Hunter, and retired teacher Mike Larson.

Haeley Johnston was elected to serve as Vice President of the WTSA Officer Team representing the 4000 TSA members in the state
