Athletics: I’ve been trained and have trained myself in the gym on diet and advanced exercise techniques. I’ve competed at a youth power lifting competition at USA Power Lifting and placed third for the deadlift in my weight class.
Honors: I have taken many different advanced placement and honors classes throughout my high school career.
Awards: I was named “Most likely to succeed” by the Seattle University Business Institute. I was the high school’s Rotary Student of the Month in 2014. I served as Vice President of DECA in 2013-2014. I received the Sno-Isle Libraries Honor Roll Certificate of Achievement and was one of the top 150 sales performers for Zumiez, Inc out of 6,000-plus.
Community Service: I participating in picking up trash from community parks to promote a healthy environment and have been a motivational speaker at Alderwood, Brier Terrace and Meadowdale Middle Schools. I was the master of ceremonies for “Creating a Better Tomorrow.”
Current Employment: Manager at Zumiez, Inc
Future Educational Goals: To study entrepreneurship and what it takes to be an entrepreneur. I am especially interested in understanding the action, motivation and mindset of an entrepreneur. I want to be consistent and intentional everyday about growing myself as an individual.
Future Career Goals: To be in business for myself. To have job security, freedom and flexibility, make more money and live a life of greater impact. Not only do I want the lifestyle but I want to help others achieve their dreams and be able to impact others. I want to be an asset to society by providing jobs, and benefits.
Anything else we should know? I am working on motivational speech video projects and personally mentoring youth. I also work closely with District leaders to promote, plan, and coordinate LEAP.

Community Service: I help organize and participate in our FCCLA projects throughout the year. These include our fall toiletry drive for Housing Hope, our now biannual blood drive at the high school, and an upcoming project with Alex’s Lemonade Stand to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. Over the past summer I volunteered as a math coach at the Edmonds School District Summer Math Program as well.
Future Educational Goals: In the fall I will attend college to pursue a bachelor’s degree in either mechanical engineering or materials science.
Future Career Goals: I hope to be employed as an engineer or scientist at a company where I can work on developing alternative energy sources or greener packaging solutions. In general, I want my work to help eliminate unnecessary waste and pollution.
