Mountlake Terrace High School football boosters received a check for $4,000 in support of the school’s football program at last Friday’s Homecoming game.
The donation was raised through Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR School program which was hosted by Pierre Ford on Oct. 4.
“This is a great cause and the Mountlake Terrace High School boosters have been fun to work with,” said Luk Blackwell, general manager of Pierre Ford. “We always look forward to hosting a Drive 4UR School event. I’m glad we were able to raise so much money for the Hawks football program.”
During the event earlier this month, members of the public had the opportunity to earn money for the football program by test-driving a Ford vehicle. For every person who test-drove a new Ford vehicle, Ford Motor Company Bill Pierre Ford donated $20, up to $6,000, to Mountlake Terrace High School, in support Hawks football. To date, Washington state Ford dealers have raised nearly $300,000 for their local area high schools through the program.
