The Mountlake Terrace High School Drama Department will stage a unique work this week that combines live actors with multimedia, all within a “black box” setting created in the school’s theater.
And Then They Came For Me, a play by author James Still, will be presented Thursday through Saturday, May 28-30, 7 p.m. each night. A special 1:45 p.m. performance is also scheduled Thursday for MTHS students.
The drama tells the story of Anne Frank, who died at the age of 16 in a Nazi concentration camp in early 1945. The production includes images of World War II and taped interviews of some of Frank’s friends who survived the Holocaust.
The MTHS production is being performed in a “black box” set on the stage of the Mountlake Terrace High School Theater; seating will be limited to approximately 145 per performance. Tickets are set for $5 and will be available at the door.
