The Class of 2016 has officially graduated from Mountlake Terrace High School.

Graduates were celebrated during a ceremony Friday night. Rain threatened to put a damper on the celebration, but it had let up by the 6:30 p.m. start time.

Musicians from Mountlake Terrace High School played “Pomp and Circumstance” as graduates entered Edmonds Stadium. ASB President Liya Ewing gave her message to the class. Senior Class President Bryson Bruno also spoke. Paxtyn Merten gave a speech after being selected by MTHS staff; along with Luke Therber, who was selected by Honor Society; and Tyler Grabarczyk, who was selected by the senior class.

The graduates and audience sang the school’s Alma Mater before walking out of the stadium.
