Here is the second half of the candidates forums sponsored by the Mountlake Terrace Senior Center Monday night, which was recorded by staff from the Mountlake Terrace High School newspaper, The Hawkeye. We are hoping to post the first half of the forum soon; we have been having technical difficulties and are working to resolve them.

Mountlake Terrace is part of a region that is growing rapidly and, like it or not, this growth will continue. Fortunately for us, our current City Council has the foresight to come up with a development plan that fosters carefully planned integrative growth for our city.
Progress happens, and denying that reality by advocating insular resistance will leave Mountlake Terrace particularly vulnerable to the steamroller of uncontrolled growth.
