The following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.
Oct. 10
6400 block of 232nd St. SW. Vehicle impound. An abandoned vehicle was impounded.
Oct. 11
5500 block of 215th St. SW. Found property. A bb gun was found buried on the property of Mountlake Terrace Elementary School.
Oct. 12
4500 block of 216th St. SW. Vehicle theft. A 2002 car was stolen.
4600 block of 224th Pl. SW. A man told police he was riding a motorcycle in the street and that while in front of a residence, another man came out with a bat and swung at him. The victim said he jumped off the motorcycle and ran to his house. The suspect continued to hit the motorcycle with the bat. The suspect then began yelling at the neighbor. Police contacted the suspect and were told by the suspect’s wife that the suspect has a brain disorder that affects the way he reacts to things. The couple claimed that there is a history of people in the neighborhood harassing the suspect because they think he is crazy. The couple claimed that the man on the motorcycle was riding it back and forth to harass the suspect. The suspect admitted destroying the motorcycle.
Oct. 14
21300 block of 60th Ave. W. Vehicle prowl. A woman reported that someone entered his vehicle while it was parked in her driveway. The suspect left the contents of her glove box on her passenger eat. No damage was done to the vehicle and nothing was stolen.
22000 66th Ave. W. DUI. A 55-year-old woman was arrested for DUI. During the booking process, the woman threw a punch at a law enforcement officer.
Oct. 15
4100 block of 236th St. SW. Suspicious circumstances. A resident reported that someone tried to steal his tires overnight. The suspect may have been spooked midway through the theft since lug nuts from the front passenger side tired were gone and the wheel was off.
