Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the forum starts at 7 p. m. in the theater, located at 20310 68th Ave. W. in Lynnwood. The event will be moderated by D.J. Wilson, Edmonds City Councilmember, and is also co-sponsored by Edmonds Community College.

Seating is limited to 200, so arrive early to ensure a seat. Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions. In addition, representatives from all three sponsoring online news organizations – MLTnews, My Edmonds News and Lynnwood Today— will sit on a panel that will be asking questions of the candidates. If you cannot attend and would like to submit questions, go ahead and comment on this post.

This is the first in a series of Civic Engagement Forums that will be held in upcoming weeks. On Oct. 7, Bill Gates Sr. and Marilyn Watkins lead a panel of proponents and opponents of I-1098, the high earners income tax initiative on the ballot this November. That forum also starts at 7 p.m. in the Black Box Theater.
