A 42-year-old Mountlake Terrace woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident on US Route 95 seven miles southwest of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on July 25.
Erin Walker died from injuries suffered at the scene of the head-on collision involving the Toyota Rav 4 she was driving and a Chrysler Model 300 driven by Jonathon Nomee, 18, of Worley, Idaho. Nomee was transported to the Kootenai Health Center in Coeur d’Alene; the extent of his injuries were unknown.
Idaho State Police reported that Nomee was traveling northbound on US Route 95 near milepost 422 when the vehicle he was driving crossed the center line and collided with Walker’s vehicle just before 8 p.m.
Idaho State Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
