Marilla Sargent, manager of HomeStreet Bank’s Mountlake Terrace branch, sent us copies of thank you letters from third-graders at three Mountlake Terrace schools that received donations of new dictionaries. This is the sixth year that the bank has participated in this project. Schools receiving dictionaries included Mountlake Terrace and Cedar Way elementary schools and Terrace Park K-8.
HomeStreet Bank is one of the largest community banks headquartered in Washington. The Mountlake Terrace branch, located at 22001 66th Ave. W., has been in the community since 1989. Marilla Sargent is an active member of the Mountlake Terrace Business Association, serving as secretary on the Board of Directors.
