At only 98.3% of being full, Monday night’s moon is a prelude to Tuesday’s “Super Pink Moon,” which will be the closest and biggest super moon this year. It’s called a Super Pink Moon because it is bigger and brighter than a normal full moon, and it coincides with spring, when flowers are in bloom. (Photo by David Carlos)
