The suspect in the Dec. 18 robbery of the Mountlake Terrace branch of Sound Community Bank, 22807- 44th Ave. W., is still at large, according to the Mountlake Terrace Police Department. Authorities are looking for a white male, in his 20s, approximately 6-feet tall and 170 pounds with dirty blonde hair.
Bank security video shows the suspect entering the bank just after 5 p.m. and handing a note demanding money to a bank clerk; no weapon was seen. The suspect was wearing a black zip-up hoodie with the word “HURLEY” down the left front side in Old English lettering and a small logo on the right rear shoulder. He was also wearing rubber gloves, large-framed, brown-tinted women’s sunglasses and some type of cloth over his mouth and nose.
“He kept his head down during the entire event, shielding his face from view of the cameras,” said Mountlake Terrace Assistant Police Chief Pete Caw.
Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery is advised to call 911.
