Mountlake Terrace police are investigating an attempted kidnapping that occurred early Thursday morning in the 4600 block of 2121th Street Southwest, our online news partner The Seattle Times reports.
A 23-year-old Lynnwood woman told police said that she was walking in the 4600 block of 212th Street Southwest at 1:25 a.m. when a Saturn drove up with three men inside, the Times said. One man inside the car asked if she needed a ride. When she refused he got out of the car and tried to pull her inside the vehicle, according to police. The woman managed to fight off the man and ran home, the Times added.
That man is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s with a goatee, white shirt, black pants and a silver necklace. Anyone with information about the attempted kidnapping should call the police at 425-670-8260 and ask to speak with a detective.
