Westbound 220th Street Southwest – A motorcycle struck the side of another vehicle while it was attempting to change lanes. No injuries were reported.

Aug. 18
21400 block 52nd Avenue West  – A woman reported her Army backpack, containing her uniform and her dog tags, were stolen from her inside her car.

5900 block 244th Street Southwest – A burglary was reported at Access Learning Center. The entry was likely through the bathroom, where the window was shattered. Several items were stolen, including a computer monitor, a copy machine and a guitar.

Aug. 19
22900 block 60th Avenue West – A resident’s rear driver side window was smashed overnight.

23600 block 56th Avenue West – A resident reported his 1998 Red Honda Civic 3D was stolen.

Aug. 20
4600 block 222nd Street Southwest – A man called police after finding his truck’s canopy window had been shattered. The man, an employee at Mountlake Terrace High School, told police he thought he was targeted by students. A neighbor told police she believed it had been shot by a BB or Airsoft gun. The same window was broken just three weeks ago.

4600 block 244th Place West – A blower was reported stolen from a man’s truck. The thief cut allegedly cut the cable that secured the box in the truck containing the leaf blower.

Aug. 21
4800 block 212th Street Southwest – A smashed window was reported at Goodies convenience store. A large rock was found on the floor near the shattered window.

5900 block 232nd Street Southwest – A man with a “drone” style aircraft was reported for harassing MLT Police and Fire. The man was reportedly flying the aircraft toward officers and police and fire vehicles at the police station.

21800 block 66th Avenue West – Several items, totaling an estimated $1,200, were reported stolen from a woman’s unit at Public Storage.
