Median home sales prices in Mountlake Terrace rose during the first quarter of 2014 and have reached the highest mark seen in all of last year, according to figures from trulia.com.
The median sales price for a Mountlake Terrace home was $280,280 for sales conducted between Jan.14 and April 14, 2014. The figure represented a 2.9 percent increase to the median for the final quarter of 2013; sales prices have appreciated 2.7 percent over the past five years in the city.
The average price per square foot for a home on the market in Mountlake Terrace is currently $244, nearly matching the high of $250 per square foot reached in 2013. Those numbers haven’t been seen since 2006-2008, when the average peaked at $264 feet before the recession of 2008-2012 brought the average price per square foot down to almost $150 in early 2012.
