MLT Library to feature art of Michelle Templeton in June

The art of Seattle painter and woodblock printmaker Michelle Templeton will be featured at the Mountlake Terrace Library during the month of June. The exhibit is presented by the Mountlake Terrace Arts Advisory Commission.

Templeton is an artist and instructor at the Georgetown Arts and Cultural Center in south Seattle. Her work has been shown at ArtsWest Gallery, Gage Academy of Art, University Unitarian Church and other venues in Seattle. Additional pieces of hers are part of private collections in Seattle, Minneapolis and New York.

Templeton holds degrees from the Universities of Pennsylvania and Minnesota, and has also studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Gage Academy. She was also a scholarship recipient of the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle.

The exhibit will run June 1-30 and can be view during the library’s normal operating hours.
