MLT Library starts drop-in reading time Monday

Looking for a way to help foster your children’s desire to read during the summer? The Mountlake Terrace Library begins a drop-in reading time on Monday, July 8, and will continue to offer the sessions each Monday through Aug. 19.

Children ages 5-12 will be paired up with a trained teen who can either read to the attending child or listen to the child read and “provide gentle tutoring.” The reading sessions are designed to last 20 minutes.

Seven sessions of “Kids Read!” are scheduled at the library 4-6 p.m. on Mondays, July 8 through Aug.19.

You can get more information about “Kids Read!” or any of the other summer programming at the Mountlake Terrace Library, here. or call 425-776-8722.
