MLT Firemen to Honor 9-11 Victims

Tomorrow morning, Friday September 11, firemen from Snohomish County Fire District 1 will gather aroundfire station flag poles to spend a moment of silence honoring the 343 firemen who perished on 9-11 as well as others who have lost their lives in the line of duty. They will meet at 6:55 AM, spent a moment in silence at 6:58 AM and at 6:59 AM dispatchers will broadcast a memorial announcement.

This will take place at the following two stations:

  • Mountlake Terrace Fire Station 18 (just east of QFC), 3900 228th St. SW, Mountlake Terrace.
  • Mountlake Terrace Fire Station 19, 5902 232nd St. SW, Mountlake Terrace.

An addtional note: the Mountlake Terrace City Council spent a moment of silence at the beginning of Tuesday’s meeting to honor 9-11 victims as well
